An Angelic B*tch's Climb Up the Social Ladder - Chapter 17
Chap 17- He Must Have Her
“Zhinan, don’t be in a rush to leave after you’re off work.”
On Wednesday, Lin Zhinan took charge of room service’s morning shift. The minute six o’clock passed she went to change out of the uniform in the restroom.
She wanted to return to the dorm to revise her notes from the class two days before, who knew she’d be stopped by the supervisor. She was told a guest had rented the entire Western restaurant at night, and named her as their designated server then handed her a gift box while looking at her with eyes that hinted something more.
“The guest wants you to wear this at night.”
The gift box opened to reveal mercury high heels and a tulle dress, from the looks of the logo it’s worth a lot.
The other girls watching from the side turned their heads in jealousy, staring at her with eyes that could kill.
Zhinan isn’t bothered by them, nor does she ever intend to be.
She could vaguely guess who it was, and lo behold when she entered the Western restaurant after 7 o’clock, she saw Tang Ziyu sitting on a dining table by the window, legs crossed, laughing at her when she looked past the chandelier lights hanging from the ceiling.
Lin Zhinan, “….”
To be frank, Tang Ziyu’s not bad-looking– he has strong eyebrows and a tall nose, a handsome and sunny rich young master dressed in expensive clothing, who just lacked tattooing “I’m rich and I know it‘” on his face.
But the moment she decided to approach Jiang Ting, Lin Zhinan avoided him like the plague.
She walked up to him and said, “What are you doing here at Marriott?”
“To eat.” Tang Ziyu laughed.
“With the money you spent to rent out the whole Marriott, you could’ve gone to the best restaurants. The food and environment are much better.”
This was a roundabout way of stating her refusal, but Tang Ziyu pretended not to understand. He leaned his body forward, and jokingly asked, “You don’t know why I’m here?”
“Why didn’t you wear the clothes I gifted you?” he said while measuring her up with furrowed brows.
“……”
Zhinan rolled her eyes internally, You can’t wait for me to be public enemy number one.
“But good-looking people are just different. They look good even in a sack.”
With a hand propping his chin, he cheekily boasted.
Then, with a swipe of a hand, he took the menu from Zhinan’s hand and started ordering.
To be truthful, the number of beautiful women Tang Ziyu has played with were countless enough to fit into several luxury cars. Although Lin Zhinan had a top-notch body, she had a cold personality. According to his young master’s temper, he would’ve long put her aside after making a few fruitless attempts to get her on a date.
But every time he got drunk and blasted with a soft body held in his arms, he couldn’t help thinking of her– imagine what it would be like to hold her– a softer body and face that looked at him with colder eyes.
Suddenly, the woman he held in his arms felt tasteless.
Not to mention the wet dreams he had, of her lying under him like a cloud of white snow, her little flower tightly engulfing his member, her wrists tightly bound together with his underwear.
The bed creaks violently, the girl in his relentless pounding was like boiled red prawns, eating his member and desperately shifting towards the headboard in an attempt to hide, whining in waterfall tears. One look and you’d know she’s well forked, a complete shadow of her usual cold demeanor.
Tang Ziyu’s blood boiled at this sight of her, his veins popped in intensity as his eyes reddened, he pressed her leg against both sides of her head, and began boning vigorously like a male dog, desperately repeating the in and out motion as if he can’t wait to bone her senseless.
The pounding sounds mixed with the girl’s tragic cry was akin to ecstasy.
Damn! He woke up the second he climaxed!
When he pushed himself up and came face to face with the suspicious milky white on the bed, Tang Ziyu couldn’t help the curses that escaped his lips– if his crazy friends found out about this, they’d mock him for years.
This is all because of Lin Zhinan!
I must have her.
“What is Steak Tartar’s side dish?” Tang Ziyu asked while pointing at the menu.
Lin Zhinan, “Raw egg yolk and pickled capers.”
“How does it taste?”
“You’ll know if you order.”
Tang Ziyu raised his brows and smiled, “You are not at all a qualified employee. Shouldn’t you normally say it tastes good? How else would customers be in the mood to order?”
He clearly intended to find fault with Lin Zhinan.
The young master won’t let her off and continued, “What about foie gras and spaghetti? ?”
This time, Zhinan was smart enough to say, “It tastes great.”
“Oh.” Tang Ziyu put down the menu and smirked, “Why don’t you describe in detail its taste?”
Zhinan’s patience has been taxed to its limit, please could you quickly bugger off!
“The spaghetti is firm and springy, with a strong sauce, creating a distinctive flavour.”
She may be cursing him internally, but still knew that a great man knew when to yield and when not to.
She continued, “The foie gras is fine and smooth, you’d smell a light grease scent, and as you savour, it melts in the mouth.”
Zhinan’s voice wasn’t soft, but like a cool breeze on the water. Tang Ziyu who sat in front of her only felt as if a bout of spring rain had wet his cheeks, after the weather cleared, the beautiful sight of her face was as if it were sunset.
His soul seems to have been sucked out, under the girl’s fox-like gaze and melodious voice.
His narrow eyes were like an eagle looking at its prey.
But the rest of her sentence sounded not too pretty.
“The freshness of our foie gras will aid you in visualizing various images of cutting apart livers and intestines.” Lin Zhinan intentionally disgusted him, “Even the moment when food is forced into the stomach of a goose– its dry heaving and swallowing afterward.
“Stop!” Tang interrupted, “Serve the food, I’ll have one of each.”
Knowing that she was refuting him, Tang Ziyu wasn’t angry but instead laughed quietly with his legs crossed, seeming to be in a very good mood.
When the table is full of served dishes, the waiter can now leave, and Zhinan is about to do just that– leave, When Tang Ziyu reached out and clutched onto her wrist.
“Where are you going?” He signaled with his chin, “Eat together, I can’t finish so much.”
The big hand that grabbed onto her was hot, and almost burned her, Zhinan struggled to draw her arm away.
The touch of her skin felt too soft and delicate, Tang Ziyu only reluctantly loosened his grasp after a while.
Zhinan turned back and looked him in the eye, “Tang Ziyu, please stay away from me!”
She had said these words not just once before, but she had never refused him in person, she had no intention of running away so the sooner the better.
This hidden catastrophe is like a time bomb, letting it continue another day would be unknown risk.
Firmly looking at his gradually grim facial expression, she spoke clearly to the point, “I know what you’re thinking, but I’m sorry I don’t have the time or energy. Go find someone else.”
These words to a young master were just like a slap in the face.
“Are you sure it’s because you don’t have that energy and you’re not just casually dismissing me, putting on airs just cause you know I’m interested?” he laughed coldly.
Zhinan’s lips were pressed into a line and remained silent.
“Do you know what makes a woman lovely?”
His voice raised louder, “when they know where they stand and how they should act, knowing to back down when they still have a choice. Who are you putting on a show of an icy facade to?”
Tang Ziyu, in his anger, spoke without holding back. He had always been the subject of flattering by others and this was the first time a woman had put him down.
He expected her to turn pale in weakness at his words, but that wasn’t the case. Bright lights reflected her eyes making them appear crystal clear; She looked him straight in the eye, cold and inexpressible, yet it made him unable to avert his eyes.
“Tang Ziyu, I’m not you.”
The gentle sigh was like the chilly coldness sealing up his chest filled with anger, staling him in a dilemma. Zhinan’s words had double meanings, but Tang Ziyu at the time did not understand.
“If I’m not mistaken, I’m your next target.”
“For you, Lin Zhinan is probably a not bad looking girl, who you can bring out and boast to others, after getting your hands on her. What happens when you get bored? She’d probably become a passer-by you couldn’t even recall the name of.”
He stilled on the spot, wordless. Zhinan pointed to the uniform she’s wearing, “But I’m not you. I’m living in poverty. I can’t shoulder the consequences of playing around. I’m at the age where I should still be in school but yet have to worry about life and living expenses.”
Tang Ziyu’s lips moved.
Zhinan saw through his intention and shook her head, “Don’t tell me things like you can provide, Tang Ziyu, you and I both understand the truth of this matter.”
To be frank, Zhinan doesn’t hate the man in front of her. He was born at the finishing line. The capital his ancestors had saved for him, earned him the right to be arrogant. What right does she have to be disgusted?
Instead, she had to thank him, for otherwise, she wouldn’t have gotten to know Jiang Ting.
Before what she truly desires, every other little temptation she’d step on and ground it into the dust.
“You and I clearly know we aren’t birds of the same feather, and I can’t bear the consequences of all your games and fun.”
Under the dark eyes of the man opposite, Zhinan looked at him carefully, “I’m begging you, let me go and find someone else, will you?”
She spoke to him in an earnest tone for the first time.
Tang Ziyu hadn’t replied, only looking at her with an eye full of conflict.
He seems to be recalling how she looked when they first met; She was a delicate figure like crisp flowers, so when had she become prickling like the thorn of a rose, leaving an unspeakable crack in his heart.
Never had he ever felt this way, Tang Ziyu just felt lost as well as a few moments of post-situation humiliation.
The smile on his lips began to turn cold and forceful, “Well, you certainly think too highly of yourself, don’t play if you don’t want to, there are tons of others that’d love to!”
For a moment Zhinan even saw the color of sternness in his eyes and thought he was going to hit her, but he just turned and walked away, his motion so huge that it even caused several plates at the table to fall and shatter into pieces.
The pride of a young master is not to be underestimated.
Zhinan sighed with relief. After this episode, there’s a high chance Tang Ziyu wouldn’t look for her again.
Looking at the mess of the shattered plates and cups on the carpet, she felt a little empty in her heart. A young master could do as he pleased even when throwing his temper, as someone would always be there to wipe his b*tt for him.
When will I have the means to do as I pleased?
Zhinan squats down to clear the broken porcelain pieces, “ting” sounds of clanging heard, meanwhile, like on a chessboard, her mind was jumping with thoughts.
She’ll have to find a way to speed things up with Jiang Ting.
Day after day, and she’s still living aimlessly in the Western restaurant.
Zhinan even fears that in a year or half her unmentionable ambitions will fade over time.
I can’t wait anymore!
She doesn’t have Jiang Ting’s timetable, and every chance encounter is a matter of luck and waiting in torment.
Since the night at the skyscraper, she has even tried to go to the square next to Guangye Building to see if she could bump into him, only to see the ghost of his car speeding past.
She can’t even distinguish his face from behind the glass window.
Only then did Zhinan fully understand that the real Jiang Ting was on the 47th floor of the Guangye Building– a height she could never reach.
The first two chance encounters, she depended on luck and repeated waiting in torment, but this luck will run out one day. I must speed things up!
Now is a great time.
Zhinan mentally calculated the number of days. Tang Yanan’s birthday is in another three day’s time.
There is a place where Jiang Ting will definitely go!
